The Photography of Brienna Flewelling
The Public Library for Union County is excited to announce the opening of it’s new art gallery with the Photography of Brienna Flewelling. This exhibit will open June 15th and an opening reception will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Monday, June 17 at the library.
Brienna is the daughter of Colleen and Ken Flewelling of New Columbia and freshman at Milton Area High School. This past year, she placed first in the Milton Women’s Club photography contest and took second at the district level. Along with photography, Brienna enjoys writing and aspires to become a photojournalist.
Throughout the fall and winter, the library’s lobby area underwent significant renovations to create the new art gallery space. This project was funded through a grant from the Edna M. Sheary Trust.
Artists and organizations are encouraged to apply to exhibit items of artistic, cultural and intellectual interest in the library’s gallery and/or display cases. For more information, visit the Art Gallery webpage.
