JOIN AN ONGOING GROUP!
- Series for Caregivers
Join us on the third Monday of each month from 6:30 pm to 8 pm for a meaningful discussion about your caregiving experiences. Share tips and coping strategies with discussion leader, Bette Scott. Please call to register at 570-523-1171. Due to the Presidents’ Day holiday, February’s Caregivers’ meeting will be held on Thursday, February 16th at 6:30.
- Spanish Language Classes
Linda Kandor leads Spanish classes for all competency levels on every other Monday evening from 7 pm to 8:15 pm. Different topics are discussed in each class in a fun, relaxed manner. Registration is required although it is not necessary to attend all the classes. Classes are suspended in January and February and will resume in March. Please call to register at 570-523-1171.
- Knitting Circle
Adults and teens who are interested in knitting companions are invited to attend knitting sessions every Monday from 10:30am to 12 pm. Participants are asked to bring their own yarn and knitting needles.
- Mah Jongg
Mah Jongg sessions are held every Tuesday afternoon beginning at 1pm for adults and older teens who play the American version of the ancient Chinese tile game. Please call to register at 570-523-1171— for experienced players only.
- Tai Chi Class
Kit Sisson leads free classes for teens and adults on Tai Chi, a traditional Chinese “soft-style” martial art. Classes are held on the 1st and 3rd Wednesdays of the month from 1pm – 2 pm. Please call to register at 570-523-1171. Note: Tai Chi will not be held on Wednesday, November 16.
